Just...because

I poured myself a glass of Chardonnay tonight. I enjoy Chardonnay, especially in the summer. Even though I am open minded and at times even uninhibited, I still tend to be a creature of habit in a lot of ways. I decided I wasn't in the mood for just a glass of Chardonnay. So, for the heck of it, I cut up some nectarines and added them to the glass of wine. I tasted it. It tasted good, but it needed just a little something. I then excitedly remembered I'd purchased a bottle of St. Germain. I added a splash. Voila. Sometimes the best things in life are of the moment, impromptu, spontaneous. #Summertime.

White On White

White on white. The epitome of summer; the epitome of Chic. A clean slate. A fresh start. One of the many reasons why I adore summer. I get to wear white; white on white, mixed with ivory, sand or tan, or simply head to toe. It's like a fresh summer breeze; a cold glass of water with a fresh squeeze of lime; the first plunge into the ocean. Refreshing, invigorating, exciting and new. Tanned shoulders, nose and feet. Wearing white on white, to show off the first tan of the season.
